The Leigh Arms stands right next to Acton Swing Bridge over the River Weaver Navigation. There is a path leading to the river from the beer garden, as well as a childrens' play area and a patio/terrace area.
Inside there is a restaurant area that is separate, but still in touch with the bar. It serves a range of traditional pub food as well as other more exotic dishes. It can be busy, especially on summer weekends.
A Burtonwood pub, it servers Burtonwood bitter and mild, as well as a couple of Guest Beers, such as Wadworth's 6X. The usual lagers, Guinness and Strongbow are on tap.
Monday night is Curry Night. There is a Country and Western night on a Thursday from 9pm.
