A very successful lauch event was held int eh Village Hall on Friday 21st October, Trafalgar Day. A write up and photos from the event, which was enjoyed by old and young from across the whole village, is available here.

All Residents should have received a copy of the Little Leigh Parish Plan Questionnaire. Earlier in the year (see below) an open meeting was held to find out the issues that people are interested in or concerned about. This questionnaire was developed as a result of that meeting and reflects the points that people raised. It's an opportunity for your whole family to give their opinions on a whole range of topics.

The Chairman of the Parish Council thanked everyone who was involved in the successful first Parish Plan meeting. There were over 40 attendees including teenagers and a broad representation from residents in the Village.

After a brief introduction by Cllrs Ross Cormick and Sue Royle of the Parish Plan steering group, everyone was invited to put down any ideas or comments on areas of concern in the village and what they would like to see going forward as part of a 5 to 10 year plan.

This was an informal and lively process that generated lots of ideas and information by using the table top maps and 'post-it' notes. Nibbles, kindly prepared by the Ladies Circle, and glasses of wine also added to the very positive 'feel'. It's hoped that this momentum can be built on even further for any future events.
