  • Little Leigh Parish Plan

Little Leigh Parish Plan was formally launched on Friday 21st October 2005.

A copy should have been delivered to each house in the village. It's now available online and you can download a copy of the plan here. (PDF format, size approx 1.4MB)

It has been accepted by Little Leigh Parish Council as a document that represents the views of the villagers of Little Leigh. More details as to how it will be used by other bodies and organisations will appear here shortly.

    Parish Plan Review

Good progress has been made on the actions identified in the Parish Plan, but as time moves on and priorities change, it's only right that it's revisited. Primarily this is to ensure that the focus of the Parish Council and other village groups retain focus on the areas that are important to the village. IN addition, it helps as a framework to explain to other bodies, such as the borough and county council, what matters to Little Leigh.

With the reorganisation of Cheshire, it becomes even more important that Little Leigh can clearly demonstrate what matters to it, and how we plan to address the various issues and demands that arise.

Therefore, please come and join us at an informal gathering in the HollyBush on Wednesday 20th February from 7:30pm. We'll go through progress that has been made since the plan was launched, and hopefully get some good ideas for what is now important to Little Leigh.

Any queries, please contact Matthew Veasey or Sue Griffiths.

    Parish Plan Prize Draw Winners

The winner of the £50 meal vouchers at the Leigh Arms was Gill Hampton, of Brakeley Lane. Gill said she'll be having the meal with her mum in the New Year. They were delighted and extremely pleased to have won, as Gill has spent most of 2005 in and out of hospital and she only heard about the meal when her mum visited her in hospital. Hope you're well on the road to recovery Gill, and you both enjoy your meal.
