A great day was had by all. Although the weather wasn't quite up to last year, the rain held off and May Queens, Princesses and assorted retinues were able to celebrate in the village hall car park.

2006 W.I. May Queen Zoe Halfpenny and W.I. Princess Ruth Wilkinson lead the procession through the village to the hall on lorry and tractor and were joined by other villages.

The fair was officially opened by Marjorie Hall and Cynthia Jones who thanked Elsie Evans and the organisers for putting on such a pleasant show.
